Let’s get visual

According to the  American Statistical Association, “statistician” is one of the top ten fastest-growing occupations and statistics is one of the fastest-growing bachelor degrees. (I guess we’re taking their word that they didn’t manipulate the statistics on that number.) Seeing Theory is an interactive web experience that visualizes statistical concepts students are learning in introductory Stats classes at the AP and college level. It’s an awesome way to dip your toes in, even if you never took Stats in college. 

Measuring innovation

Ideo created a team tasked with measuring and predicting innovation in companies. Starting with their 26-year archive of projects that focused on clients’ internal team dynamic, the team also examined external sources focused on innovation. Here’s a look at their results.
