We’ve made several changes to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) established by the European Union that go into effect May 25, 2018. In doing so, we hope you will continue to trust Abstract with your design files and personal information. The changes we’ve made are for the benefit of all Abstract customers.

Update your consent and email preferences. By opting-in to non-service related communication, you will receive updates about Abstract that are helpful, informative, and educational. We will continue to send service-related emails about product and service updates that are essential to using Abstract.

Now for the finer details:

• Our Data Processing Addendum was added to our Terms of Service in November. 
• Our Privacy Policy is still available for reference.
• You may continue to export your files at any time.
• Terminate your account or cancel a subscription at any time.
• Data will automatically be deleted 90 days after service expiration. During those 90 days, you’ll have read-only access to your data and can export files at any time.
• If your service has already expired, your data will be automatically deleted within 90 days of May 25, 2018.
• To delete your data sooner than 90 days, contact support. 
• Manage marketing-related communications with Abstract via Personal Settings in the web application. Current users will be asked to opt-in to marketing emails next time they access Abstract via web.
• Review our sub-processors via our help center, which we will keep up-to-date.
